2022 Leprechaun 319MB, Green Bay yard to Watertown SD, lake park delivery notes

promised a couple of people i would write this up. in august we bought a 2022 Coachmen Leprechaun 319MB, E-450 with the 7.3, 14,900 miles, from a lender yard in Green Bay, Wisconsin, through the lake park auction. bid $78,200. new ones list well over 130k and we have three teenage boys eating us out of house, so new was never happening.

why a 319MB: the rear corner bed means nobody climbs over anybody, the big slide gives the living area some room, and the cabover fits two of the boys.

how it went. we registered on lakeparkautoconnection.com and watched the listing for two weeks. 62 photos and a walkaround video with the slide going in and out. i asked for more roof photos and shots under the slide box and had them a day and a half later. put in one bid, waited, won on a tuesday, wired on thursday.

Watertown is a couple hundred miles from Lake Park so delivery cost nothing, and the coach showed up in our driveway on day 12. the driver said it was his third RV that month.

bottom seal is fine. the topper over the slide is not, there is a six inch tear at the front corner. looking back at the listing, the slide was in for every outside photo, so the topper was rolled up in all of them. that one is on me for not asking for a picture with it out. replacement Solera topper fabric for that length was $189 online, and my brother in law and i swapped it in an afternoon.

paperwork matched what the Four Winds thread describes. Wisconsin title signed over by the lender, a lien release, a bill of sale. South Dakota wants its 4 percent excise at the county treasurer, so $3,128 on our bid. no trouble at the counter.
